Knit Picks의 일을 드디어 하게 되었다. 작업은 2018년 초반에 했고 컬렉션 출간은 2019년 초에 되었는데 늘 조금 부러워 하면서 참여 하고 싶었던 회사의 일을 하게 되었다는 기쁨이 컸다. ,또 업계에서 꽤 많이 주어지는 원고료와 이후의 로열티 까지 디자이너에게 공정한 대우를 해주는 매우 바람직한 회사라고 들었던 것이 사실임을 확인 할 수 있었다.
꽈배기로 통칭 되는 아란 무늬를 위한 컬렉션이어서 게이지 내는 것조차 귀찮아 하는 내게 조금 지루한 감도 없지 않았지만 디자이너는 컨셉을 잘 따라야 하는 것! 이것이 시작이 되어 이후 약 2년간 즐겁게 일하고 또 실 서포트도 받게 되었다.
A cabled sweater in a timeless style, this pullover features playful cable panels that rely more on quality than quantity, incorporating reverse stockinette stitch to emphasize stand out motifs. The negative space lets burgeoning cablers perfect their technique and provides the ideal canvas to showcase a rustic tweed without overwhelming the chunky statement cables.
Devyn is a pullover sweater knit in the round from the bottom up, with a wide crew neck. Square set-in drop shoulder sleeves are picked up from the body and knit in the round to the cuff. Intended to be worn with 2” of positive ease.
