어드벤쳐 어웻이라는 아웃도어 컬렉션에 두개의 디자인이 수록 되었다. 오리엘은 트랩퍼 햇으로 디자인은 나 스스로에게 만족스럽지만 샘플링을 진행 하는 과정을 그렇지 못했다. 여러가지 난이도 높은 테크닉을 표현하는것도 그리고 스스로 경험이 매우 많다고 주장하는 샘플러와의 의견 조율도 그랬다. 그리고 샘플링 실도 맘에 들지 않았다. 리놀린을 잔뜩 머금은 100% 울은 물론 좋은 실이다. 객관적으로 좋은 훌륭한 실 일지라도 주관적인 만족감을 채우지 못하면 적어도 내게는 좋은 실이 아니다. 사랑하면서도 미운 애증의 디자인이다.
Inspired by a traditional Siberian Trapper Hat, Oriel is a warm double-layer hat with large earflaps, a generous brim, and sturdy I-cord Ties.
Oriel is constructed by making two different hats separately. Make the outer hat first, and then make the inner hat. The hats are joined together through two processes: whip stitch on the cast on edge, and a unique edging that uses a combination of 3-Needle Bind Off and Applied I-Cord.
