스케치 단계에서 이세이 미야케로 부터 영감을 얻어 디자인 되었다. 꽤 오랫동안 소재와 핸드 니팅을 위한 디자인의 조화가 어려운 과제였다. 마케팅과 일러스트는 꽤 잘했지만 소재학은 늘상 어려웠고 아직도 힘들다. 리놀린을 잔뜩 머금은 찐득한 소재의 울은 새로운 경험이었다.

Dropped stitches, springy wool, and multi-directional construction build this flattering tunic.
Finished Size: 32½ (38½, 44, 49½, 55½)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 38½”, modeled with 6½” of positive ease.
Yarn: Imperial Yarn Columbia 2-ply (100% wool; 220 yd [201 m]/4 oz [113 g]): #112 wheat heather, 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) hanks.
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holder; tapestry needle; three 1″ buttons.
Gauge: 14 sts and 21 rows = 4″ in body patt, after sts have been dropped.
