정기 발간 되는 4번의 이슈 외에 간혹 스페셜 이슈가 출간 되기도 한다. 미국의 추수감사절 즈음 가을과 겨울 사이에 출간된 홀리데이 이슈에는 3개의 디자인이 수록 되었다. 이 때 Knit Picks의 실을 처음 사용해 보게 되었다.
과정도 결과도 만족스럽고 재미 있었다. 건축학적인 혹은 수학적인 미가 드러나는 모듈러 니팅의 매력을 너무나 좋아하지만 그것을 여러 사이즈로 그레이딩 하는것은 또 다른 도전 과제인데 카울같은 소품류는 그것에서 자유롭다.

Buttoned entrelac cowl knit in triangular blocks.
Finished Size: 9″ wide and 58″ long.
Yarn: Knit Picks Chroma Worsted (70% wool, 30% nylon; 198 yd [181 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): #25873 paperback, 3 balls. Yarn distributed by Crafts Americana.
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; four 7/8″ buttons.
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in St st.
